The brief for this project was to design and build a family home which also maximised the land size and city views.
It involved demolition of the existing 3x1 brick and tile house and construction of a 6x3 2-storey 7.5 star (energy rating) home with swimming pool, first floor balcony to city views and feature void.
The construction methods used allowed the entire project to be completed within 5 months.
The ground floor was constructed in steel frame and MasterWall® with 3 part Dulux texture coat. The first floor was constructed in SIPS panels with Scyon cladding in order to achieve the energy rating, with a weatherboard finish.
