AVP Projects is a registered building company, owned and operated in Western Australia. Offering a range of new build and home improvement services – both residential and commercial, we can help to turn your vision into a reality.
With over 65 years combined industry experience, our small professional team provides a personalised service and has the flexibility to meet your individual needs, while delivering quality results.
We have extensive experience in using both innovative and traditional building methods, as well as a strong focus on sustainable living. Whether you’re looking for a functional commercial space or your dream home with all the creature comforts, we work in close collaboration with you to achieve the best possible solution.

For new build, we can manage it from conception / design through to either "lock-up" stage – were we’ll take care of everything for you, or to "turn-key" stage – which can provide you with the opportunity to be more hands on with the internal fit-out.

Andy delivers the registered building services and Ian specialises in home improvement, however, we work together closely – combining our skills, experience and ideas to achieve the best possible service and end product for you.
We work with trusted professionals across all trades and can also provide recommendations for other services you may require such as an architect, structural engineer, surveryor etc.

"We recently engaged AVP Projects to undertake a two stage renovation project for us on our 1980’s 2-storey home.
Stage 1 being to completely gut and redo our entire first floor. Stage 2 being to demolish the existing upper floor and “start again”, and then give the home a modern facelift on the front elevation, so it looked like a brand new, recently built residence.
We are pleased to say we couldn’t be happier with the results. Ian and Andy were a pleasure to work with – no ask was too big or too small, and I was really impressed with their attention to detail, and getting the job right.
Stage 1 was carried out with a minimum of fuss and everything went according to plan, on time and on budget – including kitchens, bathrooms, structural changes, the lot!
Stage 2 included the demolition of the upper floor, then encompassing the entire re-build, as well as all finishing items i.e. carpets, tiling and air conditioning etc. to a high quality.
It was handed over to us – taking only 3 and half months to complete, we couldn’t believe how quickly the second storey went up and we couldn’t be happier with the entire outcome!
Our home is now how we imagined it should be.

"Andy and Ian from AVP Projects completed a seamless and technically tricky installation of six meters of bi-fold doors on the ground floor of our two story federation home and replaced an upper storey balcony within six weeks.
The demolition and structural reinforcement of the upper level was a challenge that was completed with a minimum of fuss. Their allied trades were efficient and punctual so the project rolled onto completion without long breaks.

The personalised service was outstanding, as with every renovation, particularly the age of this home, when issues arose they explained in 'lay-man's terms' our options and listened to our needs. Living onsite whilst the renovations were in progress at times was difficult with young children but our safety was always paramount, they left the site immaculately clean after every shift, to ensure minimal disruption to our lives, even setting up a make shift laundry and kitchen.
The team not only took pride in their work but always presented themselves professionally, in dress and etiquette. The craftsmanship of the plasterers, carpenters and bricklayers was commendable in restoring the old features.

"Andy and Ian came to us on recommendation from the SIPS manufacturer, as someone "that actually lives in a house built by the product", doesn't get better than that in my mind. Using the material was a first for a lot of the ancillary trades on site but Ian and Andy guided them through the process and kept the build on track. They helped us during the planning phase and we worked well together in a fluid process during the build to overcome obstacles and changes. Renovations are never as straightforward as a clean build but with the combined skill set and experience of the team and contacts in the trade used on multiple occasions it worked very well. The quality of the carpentry work was commented on by visiting trades and the tie in between the old and new was structurally solid. I would not hesitate to recommend AVP to anyone requiring building services, extremely personable, easy to work with and flexible.
Very happy that we chose the SIPS product, the house is warm and it also has good sound deadening qualities leading to a "cosy" feel. The strength of the product allows far better design aesthetics for vaulted ceilings etc."

"I can highly recommend Ian White and his team. We completed a full shop fit with them and they were on time, on budget, very accommodating and did not bs us at any stage.
The level of workmanship was brilliant. The team of guys were all brilliant and were happy to accommodate changes as required.
The best part was that once the job was finished and those tiny little items that still are not quite right but we are all over the stress of getting a fit out done. Ian came back and pointed a number of bits and bobs that most people would have left but arranged to get one of his guys in to finish off.
